I believe in June I blogged about court getting pushed... again! Well, it was supposed to be pushed to August. It is now October and NOTHING! I'm assuming if it doesn't happen next month it probably won't happen in December since that's when everyone likes to take their vacations. Which would mean nothing will happen until next year. Rather than putting my girls on the Angel Tree and calling me to ask what size clothes they need or what toys they would like for Christmas why don't we just stop procrastinating and give these kids the gift of a PERMANENCY? These girls have more toys than they know what to do with and they don't need you to donate clothes to them. We buy them clothes because we are their parents. Rather than feeling sorry for the poor foster children you should feel angry at the poor court system!

Beautiful site Morgan. Several friends of mine have gone through adoptions both locally and internationally and my own brother was adopted as well. I've seen the hardship families go through trying to adopt. Thanks for sharing your journey for others to learn from and know they are not alone.
ugh!! I hate how things just drag along like that :( That's how Fishing Pole spent 4.5yrs in foster care- 2yrs of it already terminated and all in our home.. The CW get lax because they know they're safe.. They may be safe and "home" but they need true permanency!! I hope you get a court date soon!
